FarmLASTS Education

The primary objective of this component is to increase knowledge by agriculture students about farmland acquisition and tenure alternatives. The education working group is drawing from project research findings and their own investigations to develop two curriculum modules for use in academic institutions and non-academic farmer teaching programs.
  • The first module focuses on farm and ranch land acquisition and tenure.
  • The second module focuses on landlord-tenant relations.
Each module will include web resources and learning aids. We will pilot the modules in three settings and then disseminate them in CD format to at least 50 institutions and programs.
